a. Winked, blinked, twinkled (eye).
b. Hit, struck, slapped, smacked; made to water (
eye ).
c. [acc.
or
Bi], Twinkled, winked ( his eye ).
d. Repelled, pushed back.
e. [pass.], Watered (eye).
طَرُفَ(n. ac. طَرَاْفَة)
a. Was fresh, new, recently acquired (
property ).
b. Was of ancient descent.

طَرَّفَa. Skirted, walked along the edge, the border of.
b. Attacked on the flank.
