والمُسْتَيْهِرُ: الذاهب العقل؛ عن ثعلب؛ وأَنشد:
يَسْعَى ويَجْمَعُ دائباً مُسْتَيْهِراً
جِدًّا، وليس بآكِلٍ يَجْمَعُ
واسْتَيْهَرَتِ الحُمُرُ: فَزِعَتْ؛ عنه أَيضاً، والله أَعلم.
