[دسع] الدَسْعُ: الدفعُ. يقال دَسَعَهُ يَدْسَعُهُ دَسْعاً ودَسيعَةً. ودَسَعَ البعيرُ بِجرَّته، أيها حتَّى أخرجها من جَوفه إلى فيه. والدَسيعَةُ: العطيَّةُ. يقال: فلانٌ ضخم الدَسيعَةِ. وفي الحديث: " ألم أجعَلْك تَرْبَعُ وتَدْسَعُ "، أي تأخذ المِرْباعَ وتعطي الجزيل. والدسيعَةُ: الطبيعةُ والخُلُقُ. والدَسيعُ: مغرز العنق في الكاهل. قال سلاَمة بن جَنْدلٍ يصف فرساً: يَرْقى الدَسيعُ إلى هادٍ له تلع * في جؤجؤ كمداك الطيب مخضوب
