ي ق ظ: رَجُلٌ (يَقِظٌ) بِضَمِّ الْقَافِ وَكَسْرِهَا أَيْ (مُتَيَقِّظٌ) حَذِرٌ. وَ (أَيْقَظَهُ) مِنْ نَوْمِهِ نَبَّهَهُ (فَتَيَقَّظَ) وَ (اسْتَيْقَظَ) فَهُوَ (يَقْظَانُ) ، وَالِاسْمُ (الْيَقَظَةُ) بِفَتْحَتَيْنِ.
